Rickey is a very hard worker and has excellent customer service skills. Rickey backed up and protected are crucial data storing the information in offsite vaults and handled are computer services.
Dear Rickey, it has been brought to my attention that you discovered a small child walking in the road near Bannon Creek Elementary School during school your immediate concern for the child was apparent when you made the decision to stop your truck in the middle of the road in order to keep her from harm’s way. You then contacted your superior and stayed with the student until staff arrived to take the student back to school. On behalf Teri B., Gary D., Ron D. V., Susan H., Kate N. of the Board of Trustees and District Administration I want to thank you for your extraordinary effort to protect a student.

Just a quick shout out to Rickey and Joseph J. Director of IT Dept. As of Friday, we at Heron and the entire School District had no TV signals so we couldn’t watch the inaugural of Barak Obama, due to District wide cut backs we were without our Comcast Network. It was explained by Rickey that he was going to tap into the Comcast backbone Network and install standalone antennas pointing them in the southern sky satellite. The entire District and the students were thrilled to see history being made, live and in color! Thanks for the great work! Rickey it was surely appreciated! Sam T., I just wanted to mention again Rickey’s superior work. He came on his day off; to help the third grade teachers do a musical, technology show for the Heron PTA. He continuously goes over and beyond the norm to secure our technology needs and because of this Rickey keeps us very happy here at Heron.
This is a letter professional reference with Rickey, regarding our experience with Rickey in instructional and school operational support. I have had the pleasure to work with Rickey as Principal at Discovery High School directly, carefully observing and articulating critical administrative needs for school-based Management Information System (MIS) for the past three years. Our school maintains a separate MIS software program that stands alone from the entire District student database, requiring separate training and resource to support this important infrastructure which Rickey has provided. Rickey has been an important resource for students and staff, setting up computer programs in administration and instructions that are critical to the success of our continuation high school students. Rickey is acutely aware of these needs and has unselfishly contributed many hours of direct help beyond what is expected of him. He is courteous and knowledgeable of administrative management systems, school functions and dependable. He is spread very thin over a district that has grown from an elementary district to a unified district in 7 short years. Rickey has definitely had a positive impact upon the growth and success of our school needs. I find it important to note Rickey possesses the characteristic of being a leader. He even took three of our students and placed them in positive positions at the Sacramento international Airport. His aplomb for customer service, depth of knowledge taking corrective action through prior analysts, and staff acceptance demonstrating his team commitment is clear. Rickey is capable of managing programs and has the acumen to deliver services follow-up to see that his programs are properly evaluated, and a “can-do” attitude that makes for a winning combination.
Rickey you are our best. Your skills on the Ramp as well as your administrative and computer abilities make you and excellent candidate for future Management slots with Airport Terminal Services.
Dear Rickey, Attached is a check. It is in recognition of your discovering damage while performing the arrival walk around inspection of Mexicana Flight 965 SMF. These inspections are crucial part of our overall safety program and I am thrilled to see you take them so seriously. Thank you for your attention to details and keep up the great work.
I am recommending Rickey for the opening position of Director of Maintenance and Operation Rickey worked in M & O Department for six years during that time he showed himself to be a dependable employee and represented his position and the district in a very positive manner. Rickey has impressed me with his “problem solver” attitude he was involved in the high school moved and proved himself a valuable asset being on alarm calls for half of the school district and running a one year work project contracted on the weekends additional 16 hours Sacramento County Sheriff’s Work Project, supervising 35 inmates on beautifying the Leroy Green Interim High School. Rickey will prove to be an asset in the public relations and employee communication aspect of the Director position; he has showed himself as a true manager during the first few years at Natomas high school. He had the respect of his fellow night employees and directed them and setting up and caring for the facility use. Rickey has the technology background that will prove to be necessary as district and maintenance and operation department moves forward and serving the community.
I have known Rickey for several years and found him to always be an extremely hard worker, always wanting to give his best and looking for ways to improve. Rickey was with us at two Rivers for a short time, always helpful and thorough. We were very sorry to see him leave, but knew he was going to help the district and yet another capacity. He then transferred to technology. In that capacity he worked hard to understand our system and get it up and running, spending a lot of his own time learning the system. Rickey knows about the operation we are asking him to do in this capacity as director. Rickey has excellent people skills, a necessary attribute for a person in a management position.
I have known Rickey since the early 90s. Since those early days he has advanced to the point where he currently is responsible for all the computers and its maintenance at Natomas High School. I believe this skill coupled with his experience as lead custodian and his ability to effectively communicate with his fellow workers. Rickey has also have experience managing others he has the ability to listen and bring out the best in his co-workers. In addition to his work in the district, Rickey is a supervisor of operations at the Sacramento international Airport. He and his staff of approximately 20 are responsible getting the planes in and out on a tight schedule. Such work demands attention to details that calls for a high degree of organization.
